Qualified workers can begin taking leave in January 2026. Employees must work at least 1,250 hours for the employer during the previous 12 months to qualify for the benefit. In general, the minimum weekly benefit is $100. In 2026 and 2027, the maximum weekly benefit will be $900. How will this benefit be funded?
